Cabo San Lucas

Here are some pictures of us on the cruise ship, we had so much fun. I LOVED the all you can eat ice cream! :) We loved the old couple sitting in their scooters on the deck, it made us a laugh, so we took a picture! The pictures at the bottom are pictures of us at Cabo San Lucas. It was the best place to shop, we got most of our souvenirs there!

Project

I've gotten bad at posting again... Anyways here is my project of the month. When Don and I were down in Utah visiting family we stopped at the DI and found this window for $10. We touched it up a bit and now it looks amazing! First I painted it white then black, then I sand papered it to make it have a rustic look then I put the ribbon and pictures on! Check it out!

Vegas Pictures

These are the first of many picture that are to come from our trip. So keep checking my blog for the new pictures.

These first two pictures were taken at Red Rock in Las Vegas. It was beautiful. All of the rocks were bright red!

These next two pictures were taken at Bass Pro Shops in Las Vegas! They have waterfalls running through the store, they have ducks running around, it was one of the coolest stores I have ever been in. (Below) Don and I took a picture in front of a huge aqarium with thousands of fishes and divers inside feeding the fish.

These last pictures were taken at the Las Vegas temple! It was so pretty, I think the landscapping there was the prettiest I've ever seen at a temple, we had a lot of fun!

Project of the Month

I'm sorry I haven't done any posts for a while, I promise to get better at it! Things have been crazy for Don and I. We went on a cruise to Mexico for the last two weeks in April and we had a blast, pictures will follow shortly! Anyways, this project of the month was inspired by my sister-in-law Leslie. The words are on both sides of the blocks...which is my favorite thing! If you would like these blocks, you can download them from the website ggdigitaldesign.com.

Project For The Month

I got this bed set at a garage sale this summer for $20 dollars! When I got home I realized there were ten matching pillowcases and 2 complete bed sheet sets. So I thought I would make a bed skirt with the extra set, I worked on it all after noon, and love it! Now no one can see all the stuff we store under our bed.

Date Night

Don and I had our date night on Friday. We went to the Rexburg park and played in the snow and on the playground equipment. Attached are a few photos. After the park we went out for ice cream with my brother and his friend. It was a lot of fun!

Don's Dream....

So the other night Don woke me up laughing hysterically, I repeatedly asked him "What is so funny?", He would say about one word in response and just start laughing...actually it was more like giggling. About FIVE minutes later I got him settled down enough to tell me the jest of his dream. He told me his dream was a lot like the movie Having Fun With Dick and Jane.

He and his brother had just gotten done robbing the bank when they came out to their get away car they noticed it had been hit by another car while they were in the bank, he was laughing so hard because in his head he could so perfectly see the car and the wheels wobbling in and out as they were driving away. After that they headed to the grocery store where there was a lot of people running around stealing things and throwing them in their cart. But get this, Don was running around the whole store with one of those small carts and the only thing he stole where the small milk cartons you get when you are elementary school. When he came running out to the get away car, his big brother had a big smile and was so proud yelling "You're awesome". I think my favorite part about this whole dream was the fact Don had a small cart and small milk cartons.... :) So cute!
