Don and I went to his parents in Montana this weekend. We went to First Peoples Buffalo Jump and it was pretty cool. It's a cliff the indians used to run buffalo off to kill them. It was pretty neat, and I've decided that the indians were a bunch of smarties :) On one of the notes they have along the walk, they said some of the indians would run with the buffalo off the cliff and just hang on to a ledge, so Don and I tried it... well sort of anyway! :) And after reading that last statement I just wrote, I changed my mind and decided that some indians weren't that smart!

Pink or blue?? :)

:) Well today was the day we found out what we are going to have. I couldn't sleep at all last night I was so excited...it was like Christmas all over again. Anyways, attached are some of the ultrasound pictures. I want to see if you can tell if we are going to go pink or blue on this baby!

Our new apartment!

K, so I decided it was finally time to put pictures up of our new apartment! Sorry it took so long...I just got the last of it unpacked! :) We love it here, we can't even tell that we live in town which makes it nice. We have our own yard for the first time, and the owner just told us that next year we can plant a garden! That will be so fun...my very first garden! Our apartment is a two bedroom, two bathroom it's nice and roomy. I'll be turning the second room into the nursery very soon! I'm pretty excited to get started on that! Anyways, here's the pictures! Some pictures don't show the rooms very well, but I couldn't get a very good angle.

This is our spare bedroom/workout room/soon to be nursery :)

Canning

I felt very productive today! I got 14 pints of peach jam done, and 14 quarts of canned peaches, they turned out amazing! The peach jam recipe that I used is so delicious! I have attached the recipe below if anyone is interested! Enjoy! :)

Delicious Peach Jam

5-6 cups finely cut peaches (blanched)

1/2 cup orange juice (not concentrated)

5 cups sugar

1 small bottle of maraschino cherries (drained and chopped)

1 3 oz. pkg orange jello

Combine peaches, orange juice, and sugar and boil for 15 minutes. Add cherries, cook an additional 10 minutes. Stir in jello. Pour in jars and process for 15 minutes.

Our little baby! :)

So this ultrasound picture was taken when I was 13 weeks along. The baby is laying horizontally with the head on the right side of the picture! The doctor said she can already tell it's a cute baby just from this picture! :)
This picture was taken when I was 17 weeks, I had zero belly!

20 weeks!! Half way there! I finally have a tiny little belly! It is so fun for me to finally start showing that I REALLY am pregnant! :)

New Car!

My 91 Honda Accord has been giving me fits! When I drive the brakes will randomly not work, for some reason there is no pressure behind it, and it scares me to death! So my sweet husband said I can finally get a new car! I love it, I've never know the joy of having a car with automatic windows, a seat that moves by pushing down a button, volume control on the steering wheel, and the button thing on the key chain to lock all the doors! It is SOOOO cool! It should be a reliable car and last us a long time! It's a 98 Honda Accord, with leather interior (easy clean up for when you start to have kids! :) ) Anyways, check out our cool car!!!
