Day 2 in Seattle

My brother, Wade, and his family came up to Seattle for a vacation last week.  It was so fun to see them, and it was a good excuse for us to do some more site seeing in Seattle. Being away from family has been tough so when we have family come to visit, it is a special treat. Both Don and I are extremely spoiled rotten with wonderful families and we just miss them like crazy! :)

1. Our first stop for the day was the zoo. It is a very large zoo with a lot of neat animals, unfortunately a lot of them were hidden...bummer! As you already know, Jackson has a special spot in his heart for any living animal so he of course loved it.  But his favorite thing about the zoo?...how about the Caterpillar his dad found for him! His dad spoils him with stuff like that all the time...no wonder he's a daddy's boy! :) At the end of the zoo they had a Carousel that we decided to take Jackson on, he loved it!

2. The cruise around the harbor was so pretty! It was nice and relaxing.  They had a guide that gave the Seattle history about everything as we were passing it. It was really interesting, and the sites were beautiful!

I thought this picture was so cute. He was laughing at his cousin and holding onto his dad's hand....priceless! :)

 Love that boy! :)
3. Jackson really loved the Aquarium. He loves water... and adding fish into the equation was the cherry on top for him. Needless to say there was lot of excitement and pointing going on. :)

He's been pointing at things like this lately...not sure why, but it's pretty cute! :)

Jackson getting mad because mom wouldn't let him jump into the water.  Silly mom....
 Touching the starfish
 Looking at the jelly fish

The boys were exhausted towards the end

Super dad....ended up putting 3 kids to sleep at once!

4. Our last stop in  Seattle for the day, was a beautiful beach. My nieces loved finding seashells there! Jackson had fun walking around on the sand with dad and looking at the water.

Just me...being a mom :)
 Loving it!

So at the end of the day we headed back to my brother's hotel room and went swimming.  It was Jackson's first time in a swimming pool.  At first he did not like it...but then, he loved it!

 Splashing around in the water
 Dad's loving it :)

 Handsome boys!!
