I LOVE Fall!

I absolutely love fall! I love the cooler temperatures, I love the leaves changing colors, I love hot chocolate and snuggling under a blanket with my sweet boys, and I love my fall decorations! It's my goal to get  more because I only have a couple, but I think they are so fun and cute!
I love my fall walks! We got Jackson all bundled up for a fall walk! He loves being outside for anything, but he especially loves going for walks, he fell asleep on the way home! We ended the walk with hot chocolate waiting for us when we got back! Hope everyone is taking advantage of this wonderful season!

Jackson's new hat

So I have been looking for a hat for Jackson for a long time, and I can't find very many that fit him. And the ones that do, I don't really like! So Don told me I should make one, and since I love working on projects I thought it would be fun to do! I think it turned out cute, although I am sure it's the cute cute boy making it cute! :)

So I am getting bigger faster with this baby for sure, I wasn't even showing by this time with Jackson! But this is me at 19 1/2 weeks, almost half way there! I just love the picture of Jackson below, every once in a while he enjoys playing with his milk more than he does eating it! But hey, if he doesn't mind the mess, I guess I shouldn't! :) So cute!

Changes :)

It always amazes me how fast life can change! We have a lot of new things happening in our lives most of which we are anticipating with a lot of excitement! I am currently 18 1/2 weeks pregnant with baby number 2, we will find out on October 20th what we are having...so you better check my blog if you want to know the outcome :) Jackson is continuing to get so big! I want him to stop growing up! Can't he just stay little forever??? I can't believe the joy that has come into our lives from that sweet baby boy. Jackson and I had a break through this month, we both went to our very first fair! The fair here in Puyallup is the biggest on the west coast! It was huge, we had a lot of fun, we went to the circus, we saw a bunch of fun animals. We didn't go on any rides, but maybe next year, Jackson will be big enough to enjoy some! Don, Jackson and I miss you all!

The cutest clown at the fair :)
I love these pictures of Jackson, he got his deep dark blue eyes from my dad!

Standing against the couch, needless to say, he was pretty proud of himself!

Jackson will be 8 months on October 12th, and he can already stand by himself for a couple seconds. I wonder when he will start crawling and walking!?! That kid only knows one speed, I will be chasing him all day when that happens :)

Now for the grand finale.... Baby #2! These pictures were taken at my 12 week appointment! The doctor and nurse were shocked with how much this baby was moving, they kept telling him/her to stop, but of course that didn't happen :) I'll have another active baby on my hands and I'm so excited! :)

So before we found out with Jackson what we were having, I had a dream that I was doing monkey bars in the church hallway and I went into labor and I had a boy!! :) That dreamed turned out to be true. (apart from the monkey bars in the church hallway I mean) haha. Recently I had a dream that I was having a girl, I don't remember the dream that well, other than the baby was a girl, so we shall see! Any guesses on what we are having?

My First Pie!

So in Washington blackberries grow like weeds, they are ALL over the place! I hadn't ever had any before we moved here. I decided to put them to good use. I made blackberry ice cream topping, which was delicious! And i made my very first pie! I am pretty proud of the way it turned out...and Don said it was scrumptious! So I give myself an A! :) I was so proud that it even looked like a pie that I had to take pictures!

And already since we've been gone, Jackson has grown and learned new things! So I've been trying to take pictures of all his "first" things. I hope you enjoy the pictures!

Project of the Month

Don's mom gave me this piano bench because it was in pretty rough shape and they didn't need it for anything, I got really excited to fix it up, and I think it turned out great! I forgot to take an actual before picture before I started doing work on it. The first thing I did was sand it down, then I painted it white, then I painted it black, I sanded it again to give it an antique look, put some lacquer on it to give it a nice shine, then finished it off by putting new padding and fabric on the seat. What do you think?

Family Outing to the Zoo

Don got free zoo passes from his work this month so we decided to go! We thought Jackson would love it, but truthfully he slept almost the whole time :) But Don and I enjoyed being together and spending time outside. I can't leave my house during the week so any chance I get to leave this place with the baby I take, and I Really enjoy it! And we were able to get some fun family pictures. Also, for those of you who don't know. Don and I are moving! We will be leaving Idaho Falls around the 4th of July and we will be headed to Seattle for school! We will probably be there a good 4 or so years. We just had everything go through for our new home and we are getting super antsy to get out there! We will miss our families dearly though, but it will be a good experience!
